The Motorsports Driving Academy provides drivers with a comprehensive foundation in specific precision / stunt driving techniques applicable to a career in a variety of formats that require exceptional driving ability. In particular; films, television, live performance and commercials. Drivers will engage in dozens of intense hands-on exercises and cross-train through a selection of driving methods and demonstrations.
Our 2008 sessions will be held in beautiful Coos Bay, Oregon. Coos Bay is on the southern Oregon coast and offers plenty of things to do while away from the track. Coos Bay Speedway has a varied road course, a 1/4 mile dirt oval track, and 1/8th mile drag strip that we will be using during our drive time.

We only accept a limited number of students. If you are serious about learning what it takes to be a professional driver, then this is the class for you. If you just want to increase your driving knowledge to be a better driver, then this is the class for you.
Driving is Driving . . . no matter what the field. What makes it different is how the driver manipulates the dynamics. Steering, accelerator, and brake - the triangle of dynamics. Learn how to use them to do what you want to do. If you are serious about this type of training then we would suggest sending in an application and payment ASAP!!! Once we close the session no other drivers will be accepted and will have to wait for a later session.
Starting in June, 2008, I was the host of a 13 part radio show which aired on KUIK AM1360 (local station). Now that the program is nearing it's completion - August 2nd is the last show - we have decided to post all of the shows on the above web site. We have also posted articles about driving and will update new articles as time permits.
