Stephen Buckley has been a professional stunt driver since 1978 and has performed in over 500 automotive thrill shows. He has also held two world records for the longest car jump in the world. Mr. Buckley is a member of the Screen Actors Guild; American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the North American Motor Officers Association. He has over 150 feature film, television and commercial credits to his name as either a second unit director, stunt coordinator or stunt performer. Mr. Buckley has worked on projects for ABC, CBS and NBC Television Networks, TNT Network, Fox Television, HBO Productions, Showtime Cable, USA Cable, Orion, MGM, Warner Brothers and Tri-Star to name a few. He has appeared on the Discovery Channel, TLC and Speedvision. Various articles have been written about him in: Mens Health, TV Guide and TV Click. He has appeared on numerous radio and television talk shows around the country.

In 1984 Mr. Buckley began participating and working with various police departments throughout North America as an associate instructor for numerous Emergency Vehicle Operation Courses.

Steve was the drummer in the rock band "Backseat Rhythm" for 12 years. The band spent many years playing clubs between Portland and Seattle and in 1988 the band was 'discovered' by a Nashville record producer; in 1989 the band went to Nashville to record a 'spec' album for Warner Brothers Records. They were offered a song called "Small Town Saturday Night" which they turned down for the album. Another recording artist picked it up and the song turned out to be a huge country hit for Hal Ketchum. As for the band? Warner Brothers declined the album and they returned back to Portland with a very expensive, yet impressive demo tape.

Through the late eighties and the early ninties he ventured briefly into the broadcast field and was a radio air personality for a number a radio stations in the Portland metro area.

In 1994 he became the Senior Motorcycle Training Officer for the Motor Officer Response Team; a select group of motor officers that specialize in motorcade security and threat response. Some of his past clients include: The Eagles, Reba McEntire, Brooks and Dunn, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Billy Joel, Metallica, The Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffet, Van Halen, and Gen. Colin Powell.

Mr. Buckley is one of the original instructors at The International Stunt School www.stuntschool.com and continues to teach precision driving at their bi-annual workshop. Mr. Buckley is also a member of the United Stuntmen's Association and a graduate of The British School of Motor Racing. He has attended NASCAR, SCCA, IMSA, NHRA Jet Dragster - AA/FC and Anti-Kidnapping / Terrorism driving schools. He has taught over 1100 students from various countries around the world, i.e. United States, Canada, Ireland, Scotland, England, Brazil, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Israel, Germany, Iceland, etc. and has introduced the thrill of stunt and precision driving to both beginning and experienced participants alike!

Most recently, Mr. Buckley authored his first fiction based novel, Silent Footsteps. ... a book of one choice ~ the choice to live or to die. The decision is not a conscious one, but one of destiny.
